Truffle Tim – a nexus between the earth and a passion for gastronomy, tradition, and authenticity. We are firmly committed to promoting and utilizing local resources, specifically truffles, by bringing these earthly riches to the forefront in a responsible and sustainable manner.
We are concerned about the health of the forests and ecosystems from which these treasures originate. Therefore, we have begun assembling a team of trained hunters and dogs for responsible harvesting. We have chosen to lease key forests in Romania to facilitate sustainable and controlled truffle harvesting without adversely affecting the fauna and flora.
Starting from a simple need to supply fresh and high-quality truffles to partner restaurants, we have evolved and expanded, becoming a supplier for renowned restaurants across the country.
However, our vision is much broader. We have diversified our product range to make truffles more accessible, including delicacies such as truffle cheese, truffle butter, and the finest salsa recipe, all now available on the shelves of hypermarkets in Romania.
We have expanded collaborations beyond the country’s borders, establishing strong partnerships in multiple European countries. With high standards for preservation, conservation, and processing, we ensure that every truffle reaches its freshest and most delicious form possible.
We ensure that every step of the process is managed with care and precision. We have an elaborate logistics system, which includes not only optimal transportation for truffles but also facilities such as specialized equipment for washing, vacuum sealing, and rapid freezing at -40 degrees Celsius.
We benefit from the largest industrial freezer in Romania, with a storage capacity of over 12,000 tons, provided by our main partner, ensuring that truffles are kept at the perfect temperature to preserve freshness and their unique aroma.
But our success is not ours alone. It belongs to the entire team. By creating jobs and actively participating in the economic development of the regions where we operate, we aim to be a driver of progress in our community.
